Together, we aim to train the best healthcare leaders through the Advocate Health Administrative Fellowship.
About the program
The Advocate Health Administrative Fellowship is a one-year postgraduate, project-based program for emerging health care leaders. Through hands-on projects, mentorship and enterprise-wide exposure, fellows build leadership skills and help shape the future of care.
With guidance from a dedicated preceptor, fellows work across divisions, departments and cross-functional teams. They lead projects aligned to Advocate Health’s strategic priorities and contribute to work that improves the continuum of health and care.
Along the way, fellows build relationships with leaders, former fellows and teams across the organization. They also explore interests in operations, strategy, finance, quality, human resources, business development and other areas of health care.
Program benefits
The Advocate Health Administrative Fellowship Program offers structure, support and flexibility. Fellows are matched with project-based work that reflects their interests and advances our mission, vision and strategic priorities.

- Opportunities to lead local, divisional and enterprise projects
- Hands-on experience in growth, strategy, operations and organizational performance

“The mentorship I received from not only my preceptor, but from countless other leaders within the system is something I would not have had access to if it were not for this fellowship.”
